Testing a connection from an install form

Install-form connection tests now explain when an endpoint uses an unsupported port, so you can correct the address before deploying.

Marketplace updates

  • Ghost: updated to 6.62.0 with a fix for repeat sign-in on installs without configured email. Open the install page and select Upgrade. See the Ghost guide for mail and sign-in settings.
  • Minecraft: the setup guide now shows where to find your Crafty admin credentials in the Files tab.

August 2026

Welcome credit now arrives with your first top-up

Eligible new customers now receive €5.00 in welcome credit after their first top-up of €10.00 or more. Adding a card alone no longer grants it. See Billing & credits for the requirements.

July 2026

Registration is open

Suji is out of invite-only beta. Create an account without an invitation or payment card, then add prepaid credit to provision your first VPS.

June 2026

Managed daily backups

Enable managed daily backups from your VPS’s Backups tab. Seven rotating backup slots cost an additional 20% of the compute charge. Backups are deleted with the VPS; use a manual snapshot for a copy you can keep separately. See the backup and snapshot guide.

Organise instances with tags

Add tags when creating an instance or later, then filter your instance list by tag.

See the estimated cost before you create a VM

The create-VM form now shows hourly and monthly estimates, plus how long your balance is expected to last. Stopped VMs remain billable; terminating a VM stops its compute charges. Retained storage is billed separately. Find app documentation on the marketplace page and in the Deployment tab, alongside source, support links and screenshots where available.

A guided first run for your apps, and a smarter connection test

Connection tests now check your chosen model and support compatible custom endpoints without a model list. After installation, apps can show a Getting started guide in the Deployment tab with their next setup steps.

Invite friends and earn referral credit

Open Refer a friend from your account menu to share your code. Qualifying referrals can earn €5 for your friend and €5 for you after the friend meets the €20 net top-up requirement, with a 30-day hold on your reward. See the referral guide for the full conditions.

App changes in your instance audit trail

The Audit trail tab now includes app installs, upgrades, settings and domain changes, making it easier to review activity on an instance.

Custom domain becomes your primary URL

An active custom domain now becomes your app’s primary address. The original Suji URL redirects to it, preserving paths and query strings. Update webhook and OAuth URLs explicitly, as some clients do not follow redirects. See the custom domains guide.

Bring your own domain

Connect your own domain to an exposed app from the dashboard. Choose direct routing with an automatic TLS certificate or use your own Cloudflare account. The custom domains guide walks through verification and DNS setup.

Pick your AI model from a list

After a successful connection test, supported AI providers offer a searchable model list in the install form. You can also enter a model name manually for a custom endpoint.

Clearer instance activity

The Instance status panel now shows VM operations, app deployments and snapshot results. Terminal session history is available separately in Audit trail.

Manage your app’s environment variables

Use the Variables tab to edit the environment variables managed by Suji for an app and add your own. Applying changes saves them and redeploys the app.

Cold snapshots

Choose a cold snapshot to stop a running VM while its system disk is captured, then start it again. A VM that was already stopped stays stopped. Hot snapshots remain available for capturing a live disk. See the snapshot guide to choose the right option.

Start, stop, and upgrade your apps

Start, stop, restart and upgrade an app from its actions menu. Upgrades retain named data volumes; take a backup first in case the new app version changes its data format.

Clearer install progress

Follow each deployment step, from downloading the image to starting the app and checking that it is ready.

Disk-space warning on the instance page

A warning now appears when your VM’s system disk exceeds 85% usage, with links to the volumes and resize guides.

A guided start

A Getting started checklist guides new accounts through creating a VM, installing an app and using the dashboard tools. Dismiss it when you’re ready, or restore it from Support.

Smoother instance provisioning

Refreshing during provisioning now resumes the same VM’s progress. The creation flow also shows clearer deployment steps and prompts you to top up when your balance is empty.

Choose your OS image

New VMs can use Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, Debian 13 or Debian 12. Choose an image in the VM creation form or app install wizard.

Smarter install forms

Install forms now show fields relevant to your choices and offer connection tests where supported. OpenClaw adds setup options for more AI providers and compatible custom endpoints.

€5 beta credit on adding a payment method

During the private beta, eligible accounts received €5.00 after adding a first payment method.
This offer was replaced in August. See Welcome credit now arrives with your first top-up.

The Suji beta is open

Suji launched its private beta with isolated Linux VMs in EU data centres, prepaid billing, a one-click app marketplace and dashboard tools for managing your environment.

Resize, refined

Keep your current disk when choosing a smaller compute tier. The resize form shows your actual disk size and follows progress without a page refresh.

Bring your own compose

Customise an app’s Compose file in the install wizard’s Advanced section before deploying. Customised installs are labelled in the dashboard.

Code-aware file editing

The Files editor now highlights shell scripts, Dockerfiles, INI/TOML, YAML, JSON and more, making configuration easier to read.
